Janet Bush is a pioneer in the field of art therapy. She has inspired us to do the work we are doing now. The successful efforts of Bush enabled many art therapists to continue their work in the field of education.  Her perseverance and commitment opened the door for many art therapists, especially those dedicated to improving the lives of children in public elementary schools. 
Her book, The Handbook of School Art Therapy is essential 
in planning and developing art therapy programs for elementary schools.
