                                                 advocate for trauma survivors, especially in the field of art therapy.
                      Cathy Malchiodi wrote a series of articles based on traumatic events around the world, 
                      including Hurricane Katrina, the storm in Myanmar, and the violent situation in Darfur. Her writings illustrate the important effect that art has had on children who have experienced trauma.
